Anyone got a pair of these?

I really like the look of them, but a bit worried the hidden wedge might be a bit hit for me, as I am always in flat trainers normally.
There's quite a few on ebay...which is where I would probably buy them....is that a worry (do people hate them once they've worn them a couple of times?)

Anyone seen any similar to these, but cheaper and lower heel?

I have them.
They are lovely but they are wedged. I wouldn't wear them for a full day shopping or walking around all day but I'm always in flats/trainers.
They are toasty warm though like uggs with wedges.

I have them too. To be honest, they've been around for at least five years now, if not more, so I'm not sure if I'd spend more than a couple of hundred on them now. Mine keep edging near the eBay pile. It would seem hiking style boots in the style of Grenson Nanettes are the sturdy boot du jour. The wedge trainer has already bitten the dust, these can't be far behind.

They are incredible quality, really warm and comfortable - BUT - they are walking/snow boots in looks only, not at all sturdy or cut out for wet or muddy weather or terrain. Urban pavement wear only!

I also have these which are also great quality, faux fur lined but very similar and actually stand up to some inclement weather. Size up.

Funnily enough MrsM Greyson Nanettes are on my want list too!
Keep hoping I can find them cheaper/in sale, but no joy yet...

I don't think the Grensons will be discounted at all, the brown ones were last winter, the black never was. Plus they are selling out almost immediately, Grensons own site have only just restocked. You may have luck on eBay is someone buys the wrong size, or look for independent boutiques who are forced to sell everything off in sale to boost turnover. If you do go for them, go half a size smaller.

I would chose Grensons now I agree I've had my nowles for a few years now.
