Which Christmas party outfit? (With pics)

greatestsnowman · 05/12/2018 16:08

I have asked a few friends for their opinions but have received a mix so I'm putting this out for a vote.

Need to choose an outfit by Friday so that I can return one.

Context: Work in very casual, young office in the media industry so showing flesh not really an issue.

Which outfit please?!

The first one looks amazing. I really don't like the second.

MerryMarigold · 05/12/2018 18:01

Oooh. A nearly consensus!

greatestsnowman · 05/12/2018 18:02

Thanks everyone this is v helpful! Would tape in the top of A so it's not so booby.

I'm a long distance runner, most of the office have seen my legs as I regularly traipse through them in my shorts after lunchtime training Grin

First one! You have cracking legs.

cantfocus1 · 05/12/2018 18:13

I love the skirt but do you have a different top to wear with it? You look great in both outfits

NonvalidUsername · 05/12/2018 18:20

First one, definitely.
Also, Envy

pontiouspilates · 05/12/2018 18:23

Number 1. You look amazing. Have fun at the party x

HolgerLowCarbingLoser · 05/12/2018 18:27

First one, definitely.

DavetheCat2001 · 05/12/2018 18:29

27 is not pushing 30!

Bluewidow · 05/12/2018 18:33

Leopard all the way

Racecardriver · 05/12/2018 18:33

So long as it’s taped the first one is okay.

DavetheCat2001 · 05/12/2018 18:34

Have you got any other options OP?

I'm not keen on either, but really it's about you wearing what you feel happiest in.

Madbengalmum · 05/12/2018 18:40

Like the leopard, not keen on the skirt.

mama17 · 05/12/2018 18:48

I like them both! But prefer the second one

neveradullmoment99 · 05/12/2018 18:51

Neither. You have a great figure but both look cheap and tarty. Sorry.

HildaZelda · 05/12/2018 18:54

You look amazing in both, but I'd go for the leopard print.

OneStepSideways · 05/12/2018 18:59

You have a lovely figure. But I think both outfits look a bit tacky to be honest, more club wear/beach wear than a work do. I'd go for a more dignified look, either legs out with a high neckline and sleeves, or less leg and more upper body. I don't think cropped tops are very flattering past the age of 20.

Do you have any other outfits in mind? The bright blue shoes would look great with a little black dress or something more festive (?playsuit with sequins or something shimmery)

Autumnnymph · 05/12/2018 19:28

OP you look amazing and have a great figure but I don’t think either of these Show you off. I am a firm believer in flaunting what you got so it’s not the skin show but rather that both the dresses look a bit cheap.

What’s your budget?

Fashionista101 · 05/12/2018 20:31

Not getting giddy over either to be honest, and the blue shoes don't really work with either outfit.

That sounds awful, sorry. You do have absolutely insane legs though so leggy is great! What about more of a blazer dress?

Autumnnymph · 05/12/2018 21:02

OP how about something like this ? I think you will look insanely good in something like this
www.asos.com/prd/10537130

Or this
www.asos.com/prd/8763808

SymbollocksInteractionism · 05/12/2018 21:06

I prefer the second one. I think you need jewellery and different shoes though.

User5trillion · 05/12/2018 21:08

You have amazing legs and put if the 2 the leopard print is my fav but I love the 2nd asos black dress above. You will however look amazing in pretty much anything!

slithytove · 05/12/2018 21:27

I like the second one think the skirt is so cute

ItsClemFandangoCanYouHearMe · 05/12/2018 21:27

Looking good OP! I like both but I'm leaning towards 2.

PeachSchnapps · 05/12/2018 21:28

Number 1. The top on number 2 doesn't fit very well
