@Nakedavenger74 ..so envious of your chanel sublimage..it looks gorgeous. Is it only good for dry skins? Looks like it would slide off my combo skin.

I use Laura Mercier Candleglow but it’s quite a light dewy finish so doesn’t sound like it would be what you’re after. If you’re looking for heavier coverage, EL Double Wear is quite heavy.

Rimmel 25hr serum prefer it to armani tbh

I have oily skin with giant pores and my holy grail of foundation is Fenty. I apply it with a slightly wet sponge thingy, over Fenty primer and it stays on all day and gives me very good coverage.

Will be watching. I have dry skin need something that blends and easy to put on. In my twenties but after having a baby my skin isn't too great and my Mac Foundation just isn't cutting it anymore

Went to a make up event last night Debenhams. Urban Decay had a professional make up artist there. My friend has patches of dry skin. He recommended All Nighter shade 3, put it on with a brush, then worked with a sponge around the nose and other areas. Then used a setting spray. It looked really good. It does take time if you want it to last. I use a brush then an egg sponge, also use sponge for concealer.

I think if you slam on the moisturiser, then foundation in a hurry then the results are not as good.

@ggirl I have combination skin and it works beautifully. Solved the dry patches as it's so moisturising. Nose and forehead just needs a dusting of powder and it's done for the day. If you are a regular at a Chanel boutique ask them to apply and wear for the day and see how it feels and ask for a tiny tester pot for another day. Great brush that comes with it. Smells gorgeous. It's ludicrously expensive but I think I've found the mother lode. Lasts about a year with carefull application
Perfection velvet was my go to but too drying.

Bourjois City Radiance

ggirl · 07/12/2018 14:12

•@Nakedavenger74* ...oh gawd it sounds amazing..definitely one I will look into ..will ask for a tester ..would be such a waste if I hated it...like I do most foundations

starkid · 07/12/2018 16:54

I recently bought the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation (red lid) and quite like it :) I put it on with a damp 'real techniques' style sponge. Wasn't too drying. I'd say medium coverage

Clinique Beyond Perfecting.
I discovered it a couple of years ago and no other foundation I have ever tried comes close.
