Please please find me a new purse!

I'm apparently really fussy on purses (by which I mean wallet, not handbag).

My main problem is they're all gigantic and I want something smaller. I do however want approx 6-8 slots for cards and a zippabke coin bit. And I want it to be leather and a fairly bright colour and/or patent.

Exact size I don't know, I should probably measure one Confused but probably 12x15cm max.

Purses I like but which don't quite meet all these criteria include :

I did have a nice bright blue Tula one but I lost it and they don't sell it any more and the ones they do sell now are larger as well as duller colours.

Budget - I'd like to spend under £50 ideally, but if the only purse which matches my criteria is £100 I can cope. More than that I'd find hard to justify tbh...

They're all a bit big sanitygirl, I think my max measurements are more like 10x12. I basically want to be able to fit it in my pocket if necessary. I just hate big purses.

I think hypnotherapy to cure my issue might be cheaper and easier than the endless search for the perfect purse...

And I really don't want pink!

My preferred colours are yellow, bright / marine blue, bright green, orange, maybe red.

I quite like metallics... Maybe a metallic colour?

Oliver Bonas does have some lovely ones, eg yellow asymmetric, but again far too big. That's my main bugbear. Their green metallic small one is nearly good but looks a bit teenage trashy.

I think this threas has at least shown me I do really want a yellow one. That's useful to know and really restrictive

I'm semi interested in Fossil ones, I need to go home and get my ruler out to check sizes. Most of the nice colours are sold out - maybe manufacturers should take the hint that people like bright coloured smaller wallets? If all the ones I like are sold out it means I'm not the only one who likes them right?

I'm confused by their website tho, need to look on a computer rather than on my phone. The search isn't brilliant, and eg I can't see the difference between the Lainie linked to and the Fiona I find by browsing, but can't find Lainie by browsing, so why are some hiding in one corner of the internet? Weird. They're nice but I prefer the slightly funkier styling of Oliver Bonas, prefer flat leather to pebbley

TK Maxx is normally where I go for smaller wallets. I bought two there recently. I find that you have to root though as they tend to have the bigger ones to the front and the smaller ones to the back or bottom.

I've always liked visconti purses, know they're not designer or anything but have had a few and they always last and do bright colours

Oopsy I think visconti might be the current winner! Some of them are hideous but quite charming with it, and some are just a good size and a bright colour. And not too pricey. Thanks for the suggestion!

Piri that size and inside are great, however the colours are a bit pastel for me and the whole thing is just a little bit neat and not quite silly / neon enough. It looks like a Charlotte from SATC purse to me, and that's not quite the vibe I'm after. Fits my paper brief though, and many thanks for your suggestion
