Hello, confession first - I am 37 years old and have never really taken care of myself or had any sort of skincare regime. I am lucky in that even in my teenage years I didn't suffer with any spots and my skin is still clear and (I think) nice but I am trying to lose a load of weight and of course I am getting older so think my New Years resolution should be to make more effort!

So, lovely people, what do I need? I have looked at the internet and there seems to be a wide range of serums, lotions and potions, but what do I basically need and what products won't break the bank (very short on money with it being Christmas)?

Thank you

You need a cleanser, a day cream, night cream and eye cream. Not sure what your skin is like but if you haven't a lot of cash try using baby lotion as a cream cleanser, wipe of with damp cotton wool, rinse or not with water, what ever feels good for you. Day cream could be Nivea soft, night cream Nivea blue and maybe Nivea Q10 eye cream. Just cheap suggestions.

I think the question is, what do you feel like you need ?! Is your skin dry / oily? Do you want to tackle wrinkles / under eye shadows ? Does your facial skin feel too tight after showering ?
