Detox foot plaster things - any good?

I was just mesmerised by a facebook advert for some kind of herbal detox plaster that you wear on your foot overnight. It claims to refresh your whole body as you sleep and 'pulls' the toxins out into the pads which you peel off and throw out in the morning.

The advert says to do a fresh plaster thing every night until they are clear in the morning and then just to do weekly after that to keep 'clear'.

They are not very expensive but is this just a load of rubbish or has anyone used them and can say great things about them?? I have never seen them before or ever heard of anything like it - has anyone else!??

Load of crap. Apparently if you put water on them they go black too.

Load of rubbish, the adverts are seen as a good joke in the foot health world. Same as most of the miracle cures, too good to be true Im afraid.

Load of crap!

They’re rubbish, and they absolutely stink! (DH used them for a while).

FadedRed · 03/12/2018 19:49

Of course it’s a load of rubbish.

Avoid anything that says Detox...absolute crap. Your body detoxes itself if it needs to, without any help!

Aragog · 03/12/2018 19:52

Online searches show up with medical people saying they don't work, and they are a scam.

Aragog · 03/12/2018 19:55

Lots of articles reviewing them. All those with medical people involved say no. Load of rubbish.

The same 'sludge' colour appears even if you add water to them. Likely to be a reaction to whatever is in them and the sweat from your foot.

Ahhh I knew it looked too good to be true!! 😁😂😁
Thanks for all the quick replies! Guilt free Bailey's and mince pie extravaganza is not to be...😶
