Which handbag part 2...

I asked opinions on a couple of potential handbag purchases last week and my choices were not v popular

In any event I took advantage of B.Friday and ordered a Kate Spade bucket bag and these two from Michael Kors.

Please tell me at least these are nice!?
Which one would you keep of the two, the black leather or grey suede?

I'd keep the grey one. It's less blingy. I think silver hardware looks classier than bright gold.

It depends on what it’s for and how you usually dress.

I’d be inclined toward the suede for similar reasons as previous poster, but also because I like my bags to have a bit of a twist or point of interest to them so I usually for the less ubiquitous option.

Suede will show wear more than leather will, and is easier to damage, so that might be a consideration.

Re suede, yes, I've several pairs of suede boots and keep a protector spray to protect from the rain.

Yeah I’ve had good results with that for suede.

I’d go for the grey one if you want a bit more interest, but because of the style of the bag it makes suede a bit more dressy I think so I guess it depends on whether that goes with your general style. I’d go for the suede, personally. I wear a lot of leather jackets so I like the change of texture.

They aren't to my taste but the suede one is much better in my opinion. I wear white gold/silver so I tend to go for bags with silver hardware. I think gold can look cheap on some bags.
But ultimately it's what you like that matters
