Are these fashionable these days and would they go with tights and skirts/dresses?

My 19yr old student daughter is on her 2nd pair and will them all winter with tights and dresses as well as jeans. I have a very similar pair.

I thought this was a baby name one for a minute Shock

They were very comfy when I tried them on and looked ok with leggings (I think!)

I have the previous Orinoco boots, zip up biker style, wear them with everything - skinny jeans, leggings, thick tights. So comfy.

I just ordered a pair, I’m 30 but consider myself fairly fashionable. I think they are a classic boot. You can’t really go wrong with a Chelsea style. My 24 yo cousin (who works in fashion) also has pair so I guess that’s another vote for fashionable. Personally I wouldn’t wear with skirts and dresses thought (but I don’t wear skirts and dresses anyway). I think some styles you could get away with but I’d worry they’d make my legs look extra short.

www.clarks.co.uk/c/Orinoco-Club/p/20340918 Whoops sorry it’s these I’ve got. But I like the spice ones too.

BillywigSting · 01/12/2018 11:54

I have the tan suede ones and wear them with practically everything (charcoal tights for dresses and skirts)

Have had a few compliments on them too.

I really don't like anything about the Chelsea boots that seem to be bloody everywhere at the moment, they never fit me properly, don't suit and aren't actually that warm.

These are brilliant though. Very comfortable too and enough space in them to wear proper thick socks and avoid frozen toes.

I have Grey ones ,they are my most worn boots atm, but they are quite stiff leather and did take a bit of wearing in to become comfortable ( couple of weeks) .. at first I really thought I had made a big mistake getting them .

I wear them with tunic dresses/ leggings. skirts/ opaques m. They are too chunky for skinny jeans I think

Laska2Meryls · 01/12/2018 18:45

(oh and i am a gran!)

Doobigetta · 01/12/2018 18:53

I have the grey ones and wear them with jeans. I love them. They are quite stiff around the ankles, though.

Pandsbear · 01/12/2018 19:10

My DD (13) has these for school! Not sure if that makes them fashionable or not... they are the black version.

Siannybobs · 01/12/2018 19:50

I have these in grey, I love them
