Eyeshadow help please

Help, I am hopeless with eyeshadow! I have a lovely palette from Lily Lilo but have no clue how to use it. I have dark brown eyes and pale skin.

I never know which bit of your eye the dark shades go on and how to blend it.

Any tips please?

Get yourself a good eye shadow primer. I love Stay don't stray from benefit. Then go in with a neutral skin tone colour for the base. Use a darker colour in your crease and swipe back and forth in a semi circle motion. Remember always start off with less and build. To blend use a fluffy brush to soften the look. Same motion back and forth.
