Perfect burgundy lipstick

All of my lipsticks are pillar box red but I really need to find a burgundy colour to match a new dress that I have.
Any recommendations?

Max Factor isn't a brand I'd normally consider, but their 'Mulberry' lipstick is a very wearable berry colour which suits all skin tones - including my quite pale skin - and there are often special offers at Boots or Superdrug.

Can't beat a bit of Heather Shimmer

I've got a bare minerals one - it's called diva in the lip gloss but they also do the same colour in a matte lipstick.

Sorry, not made that clear - they do the same colour in a matte but it's called something different - 4 letters like NYXS or something like that. Can't find it to tell you.🤦🏻‍♀️

I have a very old M&S Autograph lipstick (matte) in Mulberry. It is lovely. I very rarely wear make-up .
I keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't go off or smell bad . I know lipsticks have a 'use by date' but I cannot find one as nice as this (and I love the solid case with the push/click)

I'd start my search in Urban Decay for a perfect burgandy (in fact I might go in armed with my M&S one to find a match)

I second the Tilbury Love Liberty, it's such a gorgeous colour on and the finish is lovely.

Nars velvet matte lip pencil in shade Lonely Heart is a perfect dark burgundy. If you want a slightly more purple burgundy then go for the shade Endangered Heart.

Lovely formation, no feathering or bleeding and very long lasting.
