Silk travel trousers and stylish but functional backpack!

Hi All,

Looking for some tips!
I’m going to Sri Lanka for a few weeks after Xmas. I’m looking for some silk/silk type travel trousers to wear while I’m there. I want to avoid the cotton ones with elephants on them, that I wore in Thailand in my 20’s! Does anyone have any medium priced ones that they could recommend?!
Also a stylish time of day backpack- my neon green gym one isn’t quite the look I’m going for!

I was in Sri Lanka last year and wore a lot of those thin culotte-style trousers, just from places like H&M and GAP. Thin material was good (and a shirt leg) because of the frequent rain so they dried fast and didn't drag on the floor. Not sure about anything silk-like through sorry.
