Do John Lewis no longer send emails when there's a refund?

I usually rely on the email and rarely check bank statement for refunds, but lately I am noticing that I no longer get emails... Hmmm...

I get them but usually click and collect at Waitrose and return there too. I get an immediate acknowledgement and then when the items are at the warehouse get another email.
