What razor do you use?

I’ve always used cheap disposables but couldn’t find it to hand today and used DH’s Mach 3. It was bloody brilliant-such a close shave!

I’ve just been looking-why is there no metal lady equivalent? Why are they all plastic?

I suppose I could just buy another Mach 3, but then we won’t know whose is whose.

Does anyone not use a disposable and what do you use?

you could get the mach 3 but use sharpie on one of them so you can tell which is which.

I have recently bought a laser hair remover but before that I always used gillette Venus swirl

I use the one from dollar shave club. I'd never use a women's razor again after trying men's!

Google double edged razor, they are what men used before gillette. I use my dhs and its brilliant really really sharp and cheap. No nasty single use plastic. I use conditioner as a shaving gel.

Mach 3 turbo is better

I bought a cheap safety razor handle, and use a fresh blade in it each time. Almost no plastic waste and a new blade every time gives a really smooth shave, even when it's been a few weeks.

I use a bamboo handled safety razor, you just buy the blades (literally a double sided blade, they are lethal!) and you replace it every few shaves. The handles are cheap enough and you can bulk buy the blades, I think I got 100 blades for like £7 or something. So much less plastic. I have recently had to buy some replacement blades for my old retired Venus razor though because I'm so pregnant at the moment and you do not want to be blindly trimming away down there with a safety razor! (No idea why they are called that!!!!)

I use a Superdrug own brand men’s 5 blade razor with replaceable head’s. I’ve used men’s razors for years, there’s no 5 blade women’s ones.

I always use Wilkinson Sword's Intuition. Really handy not needing foam or anything.

I've also bought an Intuition F.A.B. (forwards and backwards) razor but haven't tried it yet.

I’ve got my eye on a lovely metal muhle one from Babipur- bit spendy though.

My husband's and oh boy does it piss him off! It is a hundred times better than any other razor I have tried though.

I’m using bic Flex3 (men’s, obv) at the moment. They are very good, and a fraction of the price of Gillette.

Indeed, but like my first post says-it would look exactly the same as DH’s which could get confusing.

I just think the razor companies are missing a trick here. With girl Lego on the market , you’d think they would come up with a ladies’ metal razor!

I know this is beside you he point but if there's anything in the house that could be confused with someone else's, I paint part of it in nail varnish

Why do you need a woman's razor? The ones on the market do a good job. Them not being pink really doesn't matter to me. Just buy a different brand to your DH, I'm sure they're mostly the same once you buy the branded 3 or 5 blade ones.

Superdrug Female Razor with 5 blade refills.

It has a massive lubristrip round the whole head that lasts as long as the blades do.

It’s blue, it’s not tested on animals and it;s pretty cheap.
