Return to work capsule wardrobe on the cheap...

I’m returning to work after mat leave in January. Due to a disastrously overrunning house renovation, most of my possessions, including all non-maternity workwear, are buried in a storage unit. Unlikely to get them back before March, so I need some workwear to last a couple of months, that costs as little as possible!

I’m size 16, 5’8, hourglass with big boobs, and my job is pretty corporate. My dream workwear is lovely tailoring from jigsaw, Hobbs, LK Bennett etc, but definitely can’t afford that now (sob).

Suggestions of where to look for cheap but not cheap-looking stuff gratefully received!

Look on eBay for those brands ......I've bought Fenn Wright Mason dresses for under £10!

My DD has just started a new job and got a ridiculously cheap trouser suit from m and s. She's also got another pair of smart trousers, a white shirt, a couple of short sleeved thin jumpers and a pristine white t shirt. She wears nice jeans on a Friday.

Second eBay...particularly if you know your size in the brands you like, to avoid any disappointments if something doesn't fit. I recently had a £20 brand new lk bennett silk dress from there... I like to tell myself I'm doing my bit for the environment by reusing things too Wink

I've got my capsule wardrobe for work from Uniqlo, M&S and Sainsbury's, believe it or not! I think the Sainsbury's blazers look so good, and especially when you mix and match with other brands

Thanks all, I’ve made a start with eBay!
