Concealing under eye circles without highlighting wrinkly skin

Is there an answer? Something I'm missing? Whenever I use undereye concealer my skin under my eyes looks really wrinkly and creepy. So I tend to go without but sometimes think it'd be great if I could conceal the shadows under my eyes more.

I was told to use the lightening concealer only on the dark area- which for me is a line- not on the puffy part.

I am finding great results with using the eraser on my eyelid. I hadn't realised how dark it all was, but it makes such a difference.

warrior yes! Exactly that bit. 🙂

Yes, I agree, I read on lot on here if people saying touché éclat doesn't work for them but I think they must literally be using it as a concealer on puffy eyes etc. I'm lucky (if you can call it that) as my eyes are more sunken and dark rather than puffy.

Based on advice here I'm avoiding crows feet now bar the bb cream. I bought this last week as it was v cheap in boots and have discovered it's really fab used around the eyes actually.

I just thought I'd update on here, today I have woken up with very dehydrated itchy under eyes due to wearing the same concealer for 3 days running, I'm now thinking my severely dryer out eyes are due to an allergic reaction. So if any of you have bad dehydrated under eye skin try laying off your usual concealer.

Good point Buster
It should be pointed out that fragrance can cause issues in make up/ under the eye.
Try a hypoallergenic version next maybe? Making sure that it has no fragrance... hope it gets better soon Smile

Cobo the reason I'm thinking it's the concealer is firstly I don't usually wear make up 3 days running and secondly my friend gets the same with touché éclat! So today I've been mainly slathering on Nivea blue in the hope of healing it as I know Nivea is the dogs bollocks at sorting out sore sensitive skin!

I've just bought some eye serum- something I never thought I'd say- in the interests of trying a light coat of concealer on well hydrated bags.

Better than Maybelline because it's sponge applicator is smaller than the Maybelline and 'fits' the under eye area better is Revlon's Youth FX concealer.

When my maybe, line runs out, I'll try that one. Love my maybelline though...
