Plain black work trousers

Help me!
I live in plain black work trousers with a variety of tops, jackets, cardigans etc

I need comfort these days! I've been wearing .... hate to admit it .... elasticated waisted black trousers, but they're so easy to wear and flex with my needs lol!

I'm a size 18 ... have worn next trousers maternity for years as found them when pregnant and loved them ... but they no longer sell them with a small elasticated band waist and not wearing large elastic waist bands Hmm- moved to Evans but the quality is very poor and elastic breaks easily

Any ideas lovely ladies?

La Redoute sell black trousers with a partial elastic waistband.

Marks and Spencer Collection do work trousers that are elasticated at the back and they're only £15. They're very comfortable, especially if you sit down all day nothing digs in.

Uniqlo

I don’t know your budget but I love these Toast pull ons They have a fake fly so only your most intimate friends need ever know. Their sales are always good If you can hang on. (In fact their ‘pre sale’ has already started but they’re not marked down yet.)

I love the Toast ones Flo linked to. When I was a 20-22 the 18 fit me well, so they are generously sized. Then when I lost weight, I sold them on eBay for a fiver more than I had paid (which was, iirc, £65).

Thank you I'll have a look 😉

I have these Winona from Hush which come up big, elasticated waist but look tailored and are so comfy

M&S do trousers that look like smart trousers but have a fully elastic aged waste. They are so comfy they feel like Joggers but no one would be none the wiser! Really reasonably priced too!

Processedpea · 27/11/2018 18:33

Uniqlo wool blend

Any link to M and S ones? I’m carrying a bit (a lot) of weight and need some temporary trousers -!or will I not want to leave them?!

Marks and Sparks jersey trousers, I live in them they're so comfy.

They don't seem to have many sizes in stock on the website but I often find they have more in store. The navy coloured ones look indistinguishable from the black they are very very dark.
