Just that really. My mum would like a nice everyday perfume for Christmas. What would you suggest??? I'm thinking something citrusey??

Narciso Rodríguez for her in the opaque pale pink bottle is great.

Acrackineverything · 25/11/2018 19:33

I have Marc Jacobs Daisy for work, its an uplifting but not overpowering, fresh smell which i love.

missyB1 · 25/11/2018 19:35

Sarah Jessica Parker “lovely” it’s what I wear to work.

Chocolatecoffeeaddict · 25/11/2018 19:38

Hugo Boss Orange is one of my favourites.

I like Clarins Eau Ressourcante - and they have it in a gift set at the moment, so you get the full size perfume, plus lotion and shower gel for the same price as the perfume alone.

Stella by Stella McCartney. It's beautiful!

Ffsnosexallowed · 25/11/2018 19:48

Thanks, will have to go sniffing!

Stella is lovely, Gucci Bloom is also really nice but very flowery. I suppose it depends on what type of fragrance she normally wears?

troodiedoo · 25/11/2018 19:50

Clarins Jardins is fresh and a bit citrus.

NewGirlRedDress · 25/11/2018 19:53

Kitten Fur.

I like the Gin & Tonic Cologne from the Library of Fragrance. Zesty and fresh with a twist.

StopTheSundayBlues · 25/11/2018 20:12

I adore Dior Addict (Dark blue bottle), but I have been told it isn't actually suitable for daywear Envy

BookMeOnTheSudExpress · 25/11/2018 21:36

Citrussy- Eau d'Hadrien, Eau du Sud, Chanel Cristalle, Neroli du Portofino, Clinique Happy (gift sets currently 20% off iirc on Clinique website)

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 25/11/2018 21:41

In Superdrug yesterday, I saw a box of EDT (new?) called Bloom or similar. Five scents that you can layer in a mixy matchy way, including Cassis, figs, a citrussy Jo Malone type one, and an ozony one, that smelt really nice. Currently half price at £8. Not sure of the staying power, but it would be quite nice to try them at that price.

Torvi · 25/11/2018 21:44

I also love Clarins Eau Ressourcante

Serfisafleur · 25/11/2018 21:45

Holland and Barrett do a lovely range of roll-on perfumes.
I recently got their Geranium one which is so nice. They are compact and smell really fresh, you can carry them around very conveniently.

Tadda · 25/11/2018 21:50

Dolce and gabbana -blue - to be honest there are so many and only you can really gauge what your mum might like- sniff tests essential!
Ive always used Davidoff cool water as a day time spritz- it's just a nice (not too expensive) everyday perfume

Cuzcothellama · 25/11/2018 22:00

I like Armani Diamonds, although not massively citrussy.

Your mum will need to spray the perfumes on herself though to check they still smell nice after a few hours before buying!

teta · 25/11/2018 22:31

My Mum really adores Clinique Happy. Also Clinique Calyx is fruity n citrusy/fresh.
