Has anyone ordered from Joanne Clothing before?

They popped up on my Facebook news feed as a sponsored link and I've seen a couple of lovely bargainous dresses which could be good for my work's Christmas do.

I've not heard of this company before, just wondering if they're trustworthy before I order anything! Also, wondering what the sizing is like?

Bloody autocorrect... It should say Joanie in both the title and opening post Hmm

I've only ordered one thing (a lovely Christmas party dress, funnily enough) and it's lovely quality- I would say to size up though. I ordered my usual size at first and couldn't even get it on!

I've got a nice dress from there - I'm pleased with it, I got my usual size and it's fine but I tend to shop in cheap places with skimpy sizes anyway. If you're used to higher end shops with better cuts you may need to size up.

Decent enough / high-Street quality ...... buy yes, if you're borderline 2sizes, I'd go up.

I bought a dress for a wedding from Joanie and friends said it looked very elegant. I'm a size 12/14 and got the 14.

I got a gorgeous jumper from there, really nice quality. Agree it's on the small side.

I have bought the Emerald city jumper for a Christmas party. Not arrived yet but I went on the side of caution and went up a size as I can be in between two sizes. Sound like the right plan looking at the feedback above.

I love their clothing but find the opposite of pp. I have to go down in size.

Oh great! Thanks for all the replies. I was a little concerned about ordering as I had never heard of them.

I've ordered a few things to try on in a couple of different sizes. They seem to offer free returns too which is useful!

I'm excited for the dresses to arrive, I just hope one will fit Grin

I bought the Avid readers club jumper and the quality is crap. It's just a big standard sweatshirt with the words glued on not even sewn on. The words started to come off after one wash so i had to buy fabric glue to restick. Avoid.

torthecatlady · 25/11/2018 13:50

@Gladys123 I saw that jumper, fortunately I didn't order any jumpers. Hopefully the dresses will be better!

I got a lovely summer dress from there. I had to size down with it though (I'm between sizes and normally go for the larger size), and it needed some minor alterations as it was made for a woman for more generous norkage than I myself possess. Nice quality though and got lots of compliments while wearing it.

Thought I'd write an update! I ordered a few dresses, all were really good quality however sizes were all over the place! Kept two dresses which I loved and will definitely order again!
