Pleated skirt style

I'm a petite size 8 & love the pleated skirt look.
What is the general opinion on this gold skirt & what should I wear with it?

Every skirt like this is paired with a black top. Fitted top or black cashmere t shirt.

Black will look great but if you have any tops in the warmer colours that are really fashionable this year like green or burgundy that could also look fab.
