Help - Christmas in Canaries wardrobe disaster!

I need the wisdom of the hive. Got a week in the Canaries as a last minute cheap break in December. It won't be hot hot. Plus, I'm still carrying a bit of summer weight. (Gone from a 14 to a 20 over summer) but I'm tall. (And not going to let it get me down!)
What the hell do you wear when it's not burning hot on holiday??? Day and night!

A denim jacket over your normal summer dresses might work for the evening.

What temperatures?

Cotton scarf/wrap thing?
Long sleeves
Thin vests for layering just in case

I think 22 degrees ish. I'm thinking shorts and pretty vests in the day and either jeans or maxi dresses like princess said with a jacket. I can't picture it! My hols are usually Greece in 35-40 degrees! I've never really been to the Canaries as an adult!

Yes, layers is probably sensible

Think of it as like a UK summer. So could be warm enough during the day to sit on the beach in a bikini. Or it could be jeans and t shirt weather with a cardi. At night it gets chilly, sunset is at 6pm ish. You need warm jumpers, some trousers, sock and shoes.

Are you staying in hotel? If in a villa take winter PJs.

I always take cycling shorts to put under dresses as my chub rub is always worse in the heat
