Magpie looking for ‘real’-looking costume jewellery

Evening all!

I’m super-lucky to have gorgeous diamond, sapphire and platinum engagement and wedding rings. I LOVE sparkly jewellery and could do with some bits, but definitely, definitely don’t have the budget for diamonds, rubies, emeralds, platinum or gold!

I’m actually looking for stunning silver and cubic zirconia (possibly coloured) costume jewellery, but am desperate to find some that looks like ‘the real thing’ and looks classy!

I spoke to a very experienced jeweller a while ago who said many can’t tell the difference between cubic zirconia and diamonds!

Would love some suggestions/photos/advice/ideas as to what I might buy and where from?

Thank you! 😊

What’s your budget?
If you like sparkly you might find some nice bits at Swarovski, Black Friday sale now on.

Check out QVC’s Diamonique range. Reasonable prices and if you’re careful with what you buy no one will know it’s not real! I still haven’t been found out!

I love aquamarine and garnet jewellry.

Madmoggie I came on to recommend Diamonique as well. I've got one of their rings that I wear as my engagement ring when I go on holiday rather than take my 'real' one if you know what I mean.

And I've got a fake tanzanite and silver ring from the same range which is always very much admired and I swear you can't tell the difference from a real stone.

MinesaPinot I never take any “real” jewellery on holiday, so I bought a set of 3 rings from QVC to take the place of my wedding, engagement and eternity rings. So realistic that one lady was shocked that they weren’t real. I also have other rings and some earrings, all small and delicate so totally believable.

Another vote for the diamonique range on QVC. I have loads of bit (mainly rings) I've always had loads of compliments about them.

I’ve also heard really good things about www.trudiamonds.co.uk from a couple of people..
