Any bra ideas for a low cut top?

I've got a dress with a deep v neck which leaves my bra exposed - so need a new bra.

Have seen wonderbra ultimate plunge, but unsure if it hold everything in place?

I do want a bit of cleavage. I'm usually a 36F.

Or is there something else that would work?

Have you tried a shelf / open cup bra? Basically no cups. I’m a 32F & often wear them under deep plunge tops. But if you do this you need to find a way to tape the top so it doesn’t accidentally expose you — I usually use double-sided tape.

Never heard of an open cup bra. Off to Google

So that was an interesting Google... I think I do need a bra that covers my nipples as a minimum! Grin

For a deep v neck I would wear my panache tango plunge bra. It’s more subtle than most plunge bras and gives good support.

I have the wonderbra ultimate plunge and am a 34f. It does hold everything in place and works for a very low cut top but it is bloody uncomfortable!

PalacePalacePalace · 23/11/2018 18:48

GiantBabyMumma did you go for your usual size? Some reviews suggest going down a back and up a cup size.

When you say uncomfortable, how bad is it? Wearable for a evening or am I likely to want to take off after an hour like my spanx?

Go to somewhere like Bravissimo or John Lewis and take the dress with you.

Try the Bravissimo Satine Plunge and go up a size. I love this bra and wear it all the time, full days. So comfy.

I also have the wondrrbea ultimate plunge, but I'm a 34G, bought it in a 34F or FF.. it works just about, but I also put body tape on the cup to make sure everything is lifted lol! Having the size boobies I do I long for the perky fake boob job look and that bra + body tape works better than anything!

Freya Deco bras may work for you. Comfy enough to wear all day.

@palacepalacepalace I went for my normal size. The back doesn't have clips it's like a weird slide thing so is easily adjustable.

It is ok to wear for an evening, but I couldn't wear it for a day at work or something similar.

You get the extra relief satisfied feeling when you take it off which is almost worth being uncomfortable haha .
