What shoes with this jumpsuit?

I've ordered this jumpsuit..it's a bit out of my comfort zone and I'll need to get something to fasten it across my boobs. I'm trying to decide whether to keep it..

What shoes would you wear if you were wearing it out out? I don't do heels. I tend to wear ankle boots on the rare occasions I'm out.

I think for casual some white trainers would be very instagram-esque?

What d'you think? Do I keep it? What shoes?!

If it helps, I'm 5,7 and size 14/16. Pear shaped but bit boobs!

I think you could go with heels as in the pictures, or trainers for a more casual look. What are your options? What's the occasion?

Millipedewithherfeetup · 28/11/2018 13:45

Agree depends on the occasion/place your going.

CremeDeSudo · 28/11/2018 13:49

I have 3 possible occasions - night out with the girls (we're ex indie kids so less girly heels, more casual) likely to involve local pubs. A birthday party and a school mum's midweek night out.

At the moment, thinking trainers for the Mum's night..

Would lower heels be ok d'you think? I can't walk in heels!

White trainers ok?

White trainers sound good

Doje · 28/11/2018 13:54

I'm not a fan of mid heels... I'd go sky high or flats.

Night with the ex indie girls, definitely white trainers.

PARunnerGirl · 28/11/2018 13:59

I really like this sports luxe type of style. In my opinion, for dressing it up the heels have to be high. You might get away with a chunky block/ platform heel. For dressing down, I would go with silver, gold or nude trainers. I think white gazelles or something might be too sporty, but again you may get away with a platform style in white.

Chanelprincess · 28/11/2018 14:05

Sky high heels only

Aaaahfuck · 28/11/2018 14:09

I've got two Jersey jump suits which I feel can be quite casual or dressed up. I wear pumps for day. However now the weather is wet/colder I'm struggling. So unstand the question! Maybe nicer trainers or trainer type shoes like from a clothes shop not sports ones. Or some more sturdy pumps?

CremeDeSudo · 28/11/2018 14:26

So I have several pairs of cons, white superstars, and some new light blue nikes (which I don't want to wear because they're still nice and new looking!), or I have diamonte slip on styles..

I'm going to have to buy some aren't I. Such a shame as I hate shopping (ahem Grin)

PARunnerGirl · 28/11/2018 14:29

No definitely try your cons or superstars first! They might look great!

CremeDeSudo · 28/11/2018 14:34

Yeah I would definitely be on my arse in those!

Obviously white ankle boots.

High heels would look trying too hard, it is a smart casual outfit.

CIT80 · 28/11/2018 14:41

A pair of the black sparkly converse would be perfect !

CremeDeSudo · 28/11/2018 14:55

Alas the diamonte ones I have are slip ons and I'm not sure they would look right!

I feel the heels would be too try hard too tbh, and would probably be overkill for the types of places I go (and I'd feel really uncomfortable in them as I'm not used to them)...I'm liking the slightly raised ("flatform" apparently) style trainers though - new look seem to have quite a few.

Do we think white or black? I'm looking for silver or gold as options too!

Once you go flatform, you’ll never go back. I always feel ever so slightly awesome in mine. Grin I’ve got superstars like that (white, and I think the black stripes might mean they’ll work better with that jumpsuit than white converse) and also a nude/ dusky pink pair from Pull & Bear.

I like my silver converse (not flatform but i’d Love it if they were!) and they do seem to go with almost every colour/ outfit.

CremeDeSudo · 28/11/2018 15:12

I'd love silver Cons but I'm running out of shoe space now!

I'm going to town tomorrow so taking the jumpsuit it with me and will see what I can find. Failing that I'll get ordering!

For some reason I'm not allowed to post pictures!

I bought these today
