I think it kills the bacteria?

Queenofthedrivensnow · 22/11/2018 11:18

Yes but what do you do exactly?

Use a spray bottle to spray it onto your shirt? I've never done it, it just pops up on Pinterest from time to time

Wouldn't you smell like an alcoholic Confused

In the nicest possible way... is this because you are sweating excessively from your underarms? If so, I'd recommend Driclor from a pharmacy or amazon.

Put it on after a shower at night - DONT shave your underarms!! It will sting like hell for hours on end, but in the morning when you wash it off and apply deodorant as normal, I bet you'll notice a difference.
Use for 2-3 nights in a row to combat the issue at first, and then you may only have to use every few months. Lifesaver. I now don't need it at all and haven't for years

Omg I love driclor, it's SO good!

Queenofthedrivensnow · 22/11/2018 12:25

@ddogmum somewhat....I bought a few cheap man made tops and my office is very hot. Sure I read something on here about using vodka to solve the sweaty issue!

Washing your armpits with soap instead of shower cream helps you stay fresher for longer as well.

Queenofthedrivensnow · 22/11/2018 21:31

@OHolyNightOwl oh I've been on that bandwagon a long while no shower gel here. It's an issue exclusive to my baki g office!

Put some vodka in a travel size spray bottle. Turn item clothing inside out & lightly spray on the armpit area. Then wash clothes as normal.
Vodka is antibacterial & neutralises smells, or you can use white vinegar in the same way. Your clothes won't smell alcoholic or like a chip shop, they'll just smell of your washing powder & clean.
This works brilliantly in polyester/nylon/any other manmade material.
It doesn't matter how clean you are or if you use industrial strength deodorant or hardly sweat, polyester isn't as breathable as cotton so tends to hold on any sweat. Sweat only smells because your normal skin bacteria breaks down the sweat secretions released from the sweat glands.
