Is there anything that will make my eyelashes grow?!

Noticed recently how short my lashes are, particularly noticeable on one eye, where i developed a horrible habit of picking my mascara off 😩 is there any kind of eyelash serum that actually works? i want to ask for some for christmas. thank you!

Cheap : castor oil
Medium : Nanolash (£35ish on Amazon)
Expensive : Lilash, Revitalash (£100ish I think)

I haven’t tried any of these yet but they have all given good results to others on here!

Chimchar · 20/11/2018 21:16

I use basic Vaseline on mine when they get brittle from me not ever removing my mascara!
It works really well. I notice the difference after even one night. After a week or so, my lashes are noticeably longer and thicker.

Ohdobakeoffdear · 20/11/2018 21:22

Castor oil. I wear extensions for long periods of time and when I take them off, my lashes always seem quite weak. Castor oil strengthens them and makes them grow.

Queenofthedrivensnow · 20/11/2018 21:31

Castor oil on the lashes?

I use vaseline as I have trich. I think it works a little bit

GreenandBlueButterfly · 20/11/2018 21:35

Revitalash is very expensive but it really works for me

halfwitpicker · 20/11/2018 21:37

Heard vaseline too

OHolyNightOwl · 20/11/2018 22:05

I use Nanolash (think 5 weeks now) and my lashes are nuts! Definitely works, maybe too well as they look fake with mascara on.

princesstiasmum · 20/11/2018 22:07

I am using castor oil after trying a lash growing serum and neither are working, but i cant justufy spending a lot of money, eg £80 -£100 0n serum

guiltynetter · 21/11/2018 10:03

eeek! revitalash is a bit too out of my budget but nanolash looks great, i’m going g to use vaseline for now and put it on my christmas list. thank you!

On "This morning" there was a feature on eyelashes and Revitalash was highly recommended, but i couldnt spend so much either on it,
If money was no object i would, but it isnt

MarcusIsSquooshedInTheCellar · 21/11/2018 21:56

castor oil definitely works well on lashes.

PizzaPlanet · 22/11/2018 02:34

Recital ash is worth the money, it’s taken my lashes from short and stubby to s nice length quite quickly. I only bought one of the smaller sizes and now that my lashes have grown I use it sparingly so a tube lasts me ages.

justilou1 · 22/11/2018 02:41

I've been using Revitalash since August and people keep asking where I get my eyelash extensions. (I'm claustrophobic and just the thought of lying still with my eyes shut while someone fiddles around with my face gives me the heebiejeebies.) I nearly threw it in the bin after about a month, and then seemingly overnight my eyelashes looked almost twice as long. I promise I'm not making this up - I was as skeptical as anyone else. I'm going to swap to Optilash when I run out because it's cheaper and available at Sephora here in Australia. I hope it works!!! *Just remember that eyelash serums are not applied like eyeliner. You swipe them across the base of the eyelashes, and they are best applied in the morning once you've cleansed and moisturised, etc - then you wait a couple of minutes before putting your mascara on. This gives it the most time on your lashes. Good luck!!!

FiresideTreats · 22/11/2018 03:03

I use RapidLash. Is that the same as Revitalash? It's about £30 a tube from Boots/Amazon. Definitely works! And I was hugely sceptical.

Skala123 · 22/11/2018 03:07

Agreed on rapidlash! It's amazing! I get asked if I've got falsies on all the time.
My mum is 70 and got me into it as I accused her of having extensions! It's seriously good stuff

LesLavandes · 22/11/2018 03:40

Does Revitalash have a product for eyebrow?

Monty27 · 22/11/2018 03:47

Great advice. I have the same problem. But won't the oil irritate your eyes?

Pimpernell · 22/11/2018 10:45

Revitalash works but it’s very expensive and you need to keep using it because when you stop you will notice a dramatic decline in your lashes.

I use castor oil and it’s definitely improved my lash length. I just pour a few drops on my fingers and gently rub it in. It’s just an oil so no irritation to the eyes.

My eyelashes got very badly damaged after having a lift treatment go wrong. They were frazzled and awful. I've used maybelline lash serum and its really helped. After 6 weeks they are finally back to normal and I'd say even better than they were before.
Think it's £15 but I got it on offer with a free mascara Smile

Curlywurly1975 · 24/11/2018 23:50

Rapidlash all the way. I am constantly asked by strangers where I get my lashes done. £40 from Boots.
