Fifty two and a (bit) fat. What can I wear with new Doc Marten Pascal boots? Was thinking thick tights and dress cos that's my usual with boots but don't want to look like I'm trying to be 20. What do you think?

I'd say they pretty much go with everything! Jeans, skirts, dresses (with thick tights). I can get away with wearing them to work with smartish trousers (I work in a smart/casual office).

I'm 38, wear thick tights and dresses with my boots all the time

I'm not really sure that Dr Martens have an age limit anymore. They are such an everyday sight that I believe anyone can wear them. I've never seen anyone who 'shouldn't' wear them. I'm a big fan and have worn them for 30+ years.

Thanks Pictish - thats my usual attitude but always good to have a second opinion!

Funnily enough I just ordered a new pair, and some school shoe ones for DD. 😁
