Which Long Champ Bag ?

Off to the states for a week with work next week and Hong Kong as a holiday in April.

I have a Mai Tu bag and don't like it. After something for the cabin to fit laptop and change of light clothes.

I use the long handled large sized Le Pliage as a carry-on bag . The one that is about £80 full price .

Agree about the long handled large Le Pliage. Have used mine for travel and it is very light, easy and hard wearing. I've got the Le Pliage Neo (the one that doesn't fold down).

An alternative is the Kipling Art. They do it in 3 sizes I think. Zips up at the sides to look neat, but opens out to give more room. Again I've used mine for travel and as an overnight back. Lightweight and hardwearing. If you look on the Kipling website I think they've got some in their Outlet section.

I can't decide between the two now.

Another option is DAY Birger, they were a MN Swear by a while ago. Zalando have them on sale as part of Black Friday.

I ordered the Longchamp with a wash bag and coin purse. I detest flying and am getting anxious already so am trying to make it a nice experience.

While in the States, pop by a Coach outlet. You can pick up an Italian leather tote about the same size for the same price.

Iceni I don't think you'll be disappointed, I love my Longchamp and it's nice to have the matching accessories as well. It will look very smart. I always like travelling with a nice bag, even if I'm dressed down for the plane. It just makes me feel better for some reason.

DH has asked me to jot a few things down on my Xmas list so I've put the large Neo tote and matching clutch wallet in Navy on it. Let's see if he bites.....!
