Be grateful for any ideas. DS travels on the tube with gym kit, laptop etc., and needs a smart but serviceable rucksack, particularly for when he's working on client sites.

Ted Baker? Grateful for any thoughts/ideas - I can no longer choose for my DC! Grin

I think the Herschels are the smartest looking

I have this one (in the black and rose gold) and have been pleased with it:

Also have a look at Knomo - bit pricey, but smart

Kankan rucksacks seemed very popular with all ages when I was in London recently, especially the lain black ones.

ajandjjmum · 20/11/2018 18:04

Thank you all - I'll start looking!

Ooh the north face one I linked is a women’s one - misread your op. I’m sure they do men’s versions too. Knomo do a range of both men’s and women’s styles.

ajandjjmum · 20/11/2018 19:42

Grin No worries Captain - there's always DD too!

I have the black leather trim Fjallraven Kanken, which I love & I think is really smart:-

Probably not what you’re looking for at all OP but at the risk of being considered a spammer, I just want to drop this link here for Madlug bags. I’m not affiliated in any way, just a fan of the product and their ethos.

www.madlug.com

For every bag purchased, they gift one to a child in the care system so they don’t have to carry their worldly goods in a bin bag.
