Hi All, I’ve just bought a lumea in the Black Friday sales and I am so excited! I’m ready for it to change my life but here’s my question: the instructions say to use it once every two week but will I get faster results if I use it every day or every week? Has anyone experimented?

I think it is dangerous to skin to use it more than what is guided. I have something similar and it advises once every 2 weeks for about the first 3 months, then once a month from here on in.

I have had it 3 years, fabulous machine!

Thanks @elQuintoConyo did you use it on your face? I’m not happy about swapping plucking for shaving so the faster I can get the results and not have to shave my chin/ top lip Blush the better.

I wouldn’t messs with that level of light intensity, you could end up with permenant scarring.
I get what you mean about the shaving, I have. Smooth Skin Gold. Just say to yourself it’s just over the winter, and you will have sorted it.

I’ve have great results and never bothered with the monthly top ups,

BrieAndChilli · 20/11/2018 08:38

I got one at the start of the summer but havnt used it much as you can’t you is on sun exposed skin and I didn’t want to have to have stubbly arms and things whereas now it’s winter I can hide them under sleeves!!
The reason to leave it so long is that the hair growth cycle is a certain amount of time and doing it more often won’t make any difference as you won’t be catching new hair growth so it’s pointless and you will just be wasting flashes

Thanks @BrieAndChilli that makes sense re the growth cycle. I’m excited to get started though

Can I ask where you found it in the sale and if you got a good deal?

tasdee · 22/11/2018 04:25

I got one under half price on Amazon.

Bodear · 22/11/2018 05:07

The same as tasdee. I’ll be using it for the first time on Sunday and I am so excited Grin I hope it works!

Hey I’m hoping to purchase one, can I ask which model you went for. Interested in making a Black Friday saving!

Bodear · 22/11/2018 07:42

I went for the Prestige with the different attachments for different body parts. I stopped plucking last weekend and I’ll zap for the first time this weekend.
