Unless with silky top and heeled sandals.

If you fancy trying a jumpsuit, get thee to M&S for their black star one - bake-off Nadia wore it on Jonathan Ross show in Saturday.
I've got the navy polka-dot version and it's surprisingly flattering on a fuller figure.

Or, smart jeans (black, dark blue or pleather) with a nice top will be as smart as the LBD others are wearing, especially with hair / make-up etc done. I've gone a bit OTT with animal print tops this year 😍

Accentuate the bits you do like at the moment, that's an instant confidence boost. But acknowledge we're only worried about something - including your colleagues!

Enjoy

You must be younger than me then I'd look like I'd literally forgotten to change my bottoms after yoga Grin

PouchofDouglas: you're a tough nut but u are wise! ;) Hair, brows and nails I can sort, I have spotted some jumpsuits I like, genuinely I would not be comfortable showing my calves, they are mahoosive, always have been since about age 12. i do like the skirt from M and S tho!

Black tuxedo from Zara. Looks more expensive than it is, glam but cool.
