Everyday necklace - silver or white gold?

If you wear the same necklace every day, is it silver or white gold? I worry white gold will fade and need regular plating.

Platinum if you can, always

I don't wear any necklace every day but with those I do my silver always looks bright and shiny (once cleaned, which is easy), my platinum rings are greyish but consistent, and my white gold looks grey in a different way.

Depends on your budget and what look you are trying to achieve.

I wear my silver St Christopher daily. On the chain is also my late fathers gold ring and I wear my mums gold ring on my right hand. They don't match but they're sentimental pieces that make me feel like I'm carrying them with me daily. Wear what you want.

I like silver. If you get bored, it's cheaper to replace. I also think it looks really lovely when clean.
