Best socks ever

What are your favourite socks? I have some Falke Softmerino but they go bobbly. I have some Transparenze ribbed wool socks but can't stand the feeling of the ribbed bit under my feet, also they feel a bit synthetic.

Does anyone have any fine wool socks they can recommend? Also after sleek ankle socks made to be seen.

Bamboo socks form Aldi. They ahve slight cushioning on the heel and foot. I really hope thye have them again.

Bridgedale cotton hikers for wearing with boots or where a thicker sock is needed

Boots own brand bamboo socks. I often by the men’s as they are a little longer but not massively when washed.

I was going to say the Bam free socks!! Seemed to happen after I ordered something from boden. Must have forgotten to tick a marketing mail opt out as now I get all sorts of expensive catolgues throughly hr door but the free Bam socks make it worth it!

Ok, I wore the transparenze gennifer ribbed merino today for a test, they are weirdly snaggy and bobbly even though I’ve hardly ever worn them. I’m going to try cos.

BAN are great appart from the colours - just awful and sludgy.

Nice and stretchy; warm but not too thick.
They must have confidence in the quality of their product, to be sending out free pairs, in the hope that people will make a purchase from them.
