Does anyone know of any shops or sites that I would be able to get a dress that would go with this theme?

On the Fashion Clicks site there are a few 1920s dresses that aren't on the 1920s tab.

Another vote for gatsby lady. Have a gorgeous dress from her and it is so flattering.

Thats great, 20s dresses are supposed to be totally straight, so no figure hugging. Ideal if your body is still changing back.

DiveBombingSeagull · 17/11/2018 05:46

There are some gorgeous dresses on amazon of all places very reasonably priced. It’s too early in the morning for me to try and do links but a friend got a lovely dress for similar event that looks very like the stuff posted earlier

SimplyPut · 17/11/2018 06:25

Little Black dress have some lovely ones. This plum is festive but some of the longer gowns would be great for a Christmas wedding too.

CountFosco · 17/11/2018 07:17

If you are still BFing separates might be better than a dress. Personally I'd wear widelegged trousers in lovely flowy material plus an oversized silk shirt (well, unless you leak badly). And an enormous string of pearls. But I object to fancy dress so would do minimum required.

Lucked · 17/11/2018 08:05

Everyone will be in Flapper dresses so I would go for high waist wide leg trousers. Loads of paperbag waists at the moment.

VioletWillow · 17/11/2018 15:52

www.revival-retro.com, one of my favourite shops! The owner is really nice, she does Swing dancing and really knows her stuff about all things vintage. I would also avoid the fringe dress personally! House of Foxy is also good, I don't know if she goes earlier than 30s though.

I can vouch for the quality of blue velvet vintage, they are really good. They ship to the UK pretty quickly too.
