I love it. I am quite pale and use medium, I tried the fair first and it was just too pale. I also need a bit of colour. Give it a ing. But buy from QVC and you can use it for 30 days and return if you find it doesn't suit.

I like the sound of party skin! Glitterball

I use it round my eyes for coverage and then dust a Matt powder over the top as I find it a bit pearly for me. It has a sort of gleam or shine to it like bare minerals powders. I am quite pale and use porcelain. QVC often have good deals on it and I love the Laura Geller eyeliner pencils. QVC also have good colour charts so you can see what colouring each shade suits.

Oh I really disliked it actually, it went in the bin after a while. I'm pale and went with Fair and it was awful, just like i'd several layers of orangey pressed powder on my face, it was far too orange toned.
Also didn't like the formula, I think if you have dry skin at all it's not great, you can build it up to an extent but it's still what I'd call a light-medium coverage, but still looked so unnatural close up. I have a few blemishes I like to cover and it really didn't.

I could go on actually but you get the point Grin. Everyone's skin is different I suppose! If the colour had been more natural I'd have maybe used it as a finishing powder on the t-zone but that's about it.

Definitely agree to buy it on QVC though, that way you can send it back if it doesn't suit you.

I actually got it in a set with a blusher (very average but fine), eye pencil (went in the bin as it smudged), lip colour (just a very pigmented lip gloss basically, not my kind of thing) and a highlighter, which was almost unnoticeable and just looked like a cream eyeshadow. I was so disappointed Envy - hopes were high!

I loved it, I have very fair skin and the lightest was purpose. I loved the fact it doesn't feel like you are wearing foundation

I agree with PP - if you have dry skin, it's awful.

In fact, I thought it was pretty average overall - it just looked flat and unnatural on me.

emmskie03 · 17/11/2018 23:02

I love it but I don't generally have dry skin. I find that concealer on blemishes and then balance'n' brighten on top is great for me and there's no transferring of foundation onto everything over the day. Super quick too.

I use golden medium during the summer and would describe myself as olive skinned. I do feel that now the summer tan is going I might give a lighter shade a whirl. I think if you feel you are pasty then medium would be to dark?

I'd also have a think about the colour tone of your skin as before I bought this seemed to be the main issue with buyers being dissatisfied. I understand fair is more yellow toned and dark thanypud expect a faor to be so thst will be the one I try.

Tarrarra · 17/11/2018 23:18

I've been trying to attach a pic but it's not working! I have very pale freckle skin and use the fair shade as I find porcelain too pinky and pale. I use the tinted spackle underneath. Love it!

Tarrarra · 17/11/2018 23:20

If this works, the top is the porcelain and the one under is fair, so you can see them together...

I’m very fair with pink undertones. The Porcelain was too yellow-toned for me so as PP have said, it just looked wrong. However, in the summer with a hint of colour it was good over a tinted moisturiser.
