Stuff to hide grey roots

Hi there,
I get my hair dyed every 4 weeks but week 3 and I can start to see the roots. Any recommendations of what I could us to temporarily cover them before the hairdressers at week 4? (I’m not responsible enough to self dye after multiple hair dye malfunctions!)
Many thanks

I use Loreal root touch up:

Works a treat for covering grey in-between tints.

Josh Wood at Boots does a few different options- a pencil, a brush-on and one with a sponge applicator.

I use Zero Grey which I got from Superdrug. I've also used Colour WoW . (Space NK) which is about 3x the price and Zero Grey is just as good if not better!

I also use L'ORÉAL magic retouch. Follow instructions though i.e. don't spray too close and protect your clothes (or do before dressing!). I also hold a cotton bud or something over my parting when spraying to avoid stained scalp!!
