Coats for fat birds

Help me find a coat! Pleeeease!

I'm short, fat (if pressed, I'd say apple shaped), and rarely wear heels.

What coat would you recommend to make me look a bit less fat?

I'm not sure but maybe a fitted style with a deep v neck and a belt to give you some shape.

Knee length, dark colour, thin wool with a lining, so the silhouette stays slim. V neck with narrow lapels, belt if you can carry it off.

I'm inclined to think a belt wouldn't work on me, but good point about thin so as not to add bulk!
