Family Photo Shoot

We are doing a family photo shoot soon. My husband and sons will be in jeans and shirts but I don’t know what to wear! I want pictures that I can display all year round.

I am a size 12, 5 foot four and would be pear shaped but with norks (hourglass maybe ). I like knee length dresses, v shape necklines, a line dresses. I live in jeans and tops. My budget would be about £50-£100.

Can the amazing style gurus of style and beauty send me on some links for outfits I could wear for this shoot? Thanks everyone.

What will the setting be? Home, studio, outdoors?

It will be indoors with one picture outdoors with our elderly lab who I love very much

I would get yourself to the John Lewis website and filter through all their dresses. I'd think a dress and boots would be your best option as then you will be ok outdoors with doglet but also look a bit special indoors (I am also a jeans and top liver-inner so I'd probably want to dress up a tiny bit too).

You can filter by length, sleeve, colour, price, size and all sorts of other options so you should be able to narrow your options down. I did have a look but I realised I didn't know if you wanted patterned or plain, or what colours would work for you! But there are loads.

I’ll have a look there. Thanks for the tips. I think I want plain because it will probably look better in the shoot. I’m pale with brown/blonde hair. I’ve lost a lot of weight in the last year so I don’t know what my style is anymore and my old style suited a fatter me!
