Undereye circles - help!!!

I always used to wonder what people were going on about...oh my god I now have these massive dark circles under my eyes now I'm 42.

Anyone done anything that's worked?

I won't do undereye fillers because I'm too worried about the risk near the eye area (I've had fillers around my mouth and were amazing!) but will try anything else.

Please help!!

I hear ya. I've always had them, at 51 they're terrible now and really age me. I've tried various eye creams and although they've done a good job of caring for the skin under my eyes, they've not done much for the shadows. I'm thinking of trying some sort of brightening under-eye cream, tarte does one that seems to have good reviews.

By far the best thing I've used so far concealer-wise is Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define, and I've heard good things about tarte Shape Tape which the MUR concealer is based on, but I don't want to fork out that much on a concealer. lol The MUR one is very effective anyway, in my experience.

Bobbi Brown has a great one. It's pink, not sure of the name.

I've always had under eye shadows, even in my 20s. I went through a phase of trying every cream I could find - nothing made a difference. I just use concealer now!

Surprisingly the Collection concealer is very good, and very cheap!

Anyone tried clearlift or other laser therapies??

The ordinary caffeine solution has been working for me

WipsGlitter · 13/11/2018 13:51

What is that @chipsandpeas ? Is it a cover or a lotion?

chipsandpeas · 13/11/2018 13:53

It’s a serum that you can use in the morning and at night just on your under eyes and I swear mine are a lot light after using for about a week

FFSFFSFFS · 13/11/2018 14:29

Just ordered the caffeine solution! And booked myself some time to browse concealers....

Thanks all!

I have horrendous hereditary under eye circles which are exacerbated by lack of sleep. I have to use a colour corrector before concealer so I use Bobbi Brown Intensive skin serum corrector on top of foundation. Then use quite a thick concealer like the Tarte maracuja creaseless concealer. I set it all with Hourglass powder and then a setting spray as well. I can get to about lunch time before it starts wearing through. I've been using the caffeine solution from The Ordinary religiously but honestly can't notice a difference.
