Help me with shoes for this dress

I bought this dress for my work Christmas party but now I can't find shoes that look nice with it. My black court shoes look frumpy with it. Also, the dress has a silver sparkle so not as dark as in the photo. I'm thinking either coloured pointy heels or some kind of shoe boot. I'd rather not spend more than £60 as well. Any ideas are very much welcome. (Pictures attached in case the link doesn't work)

How high do you want them? I quite like these, little bit of bling on the heel to go with the silver sparkle in the dress. And they’re only £27 from Pink Boutique.

shoe boot

PhillyJoe · 12/11/2018 21:46

@Malibucyprus unfortunately I'd fall over in those. I forgot to say 3 inches is my maximum!

@Lucked those are nice and could work well.

I want this dress! But it’s showing out of stock. Boo!!

what about leopard print?

PhillyJoe · 13/11/2018 06:05

madness I think it is too glittery in real life for leopard print although generally I do love a bit of leopard print.

Silver courts. God there’s loads everywhere. Look at new look

Oblomov18 · 13/11/2018 06:23

I think that court shoes, even silver ones, could make it look too frumpy.
Maybe something like these: but not with the ankle strap, in a silvery pewter? Or similar?

I agree @Oblomov18 that courts will risk looking frumpy. I loved the dress when I tried it in but now realise that the length makes shoes tricky. I might get the sandals in the picture when they come in stock.

Pointy courts. Leg elongating and look cool and classy.
I hate ones that are too high and bought some recently that were walkable for less than £60 from Office.
