Do you know of any British coat brands?

I need a new coat and am trying to buy British. But struggling to find a nice pea coat/Kate Middleton style. Ideally no more than £150 but could go a little higher.

But! I've realised that coats with a high wool content don't work for me. I walk everywhere and no matter how careful I am with my bag or changing how I carry it, I end up with worn patches from the bag rubbing v quickly. So Gloverall and Montgomery are no good.

agree with @Nettletheelf by definition, British made will be £££ and it will be wool as the main fibre

There's a fair bit of M&S Best of British range on eBay, including brand new, probably old warehouse stock. Very niche brands like Folk or YMC might do British made stuff, but it won't be cheap, coats are around £500 but they will last a lifetime and aren't trend led.

Also agree Kate Middleton doesn't wear pea coats, she wears double breasted military coats.

I will look on eBay for Best of British, thanks for the tip!

They stopped making it because people were not prepared to pay for British made clothes. Boo.
