Cheap foundation light coverage recommendations

My mac foundation has just run out and I haven't the funds to replace it. What are your cheaper recommendations? I only wear a small amount in work to balance my complexion as opposed to major cover. Light coloured if that makes a difference. Tia

I'm the same, quite pale and only use foundation for a light covering.

I use Rimmel 25 hour

HildaZelda · 12/11/2018 17:27

I use Rimmel as well. The one with the red top (think it could be 25 hour actually) It's quite buildable.

I use Mac or ELDW as my 'going out' foundation, but the Rimmel one is fine for everyday.

Bourjois city radience.

Alexandra2018 · 12/11/2018 17:45

I use Barry m or even c.y.o new brand in boots

I bought W7 on a whim as it was super cheap. It is AMAZING. The one I have is called HD.

I like bourjois healthy mix. Not at all heavy

RedFin · 12/11/2018 20:05

Thanks all, that gives me a few ideas

Rimmel Wake Me Up (orange lid) is good

LoveManyTrustfew · 12/11/2018 20:26

Rimmel Wake Me Up.

I had a 25 year Clarins foundation habit, they will have to claw the Rimmel out of my cold dead hands. Grin

It is generally between £8 and £9 a bottle in places like JS and Boots at the moment it is £5.49 Shock on Amazon.

feathermucker · 12/11/2018 20:58

Bourjois

RosinaAlmaviva · 12/11/2018 21:15

Rimmel Match Perfection.

I've also heard Bourjois Healthy Mix recommended, but it's too yellow for me. I have pink undertones, as does the Rimmel.

TantricTwist · 12/11/2018 22:05

I used Rimmel Match perfection (blue lid) today for the first time and it's brilliant. It lasted a full 14 hours on me, without powder, plus the colour match is perfect for me, didn't sit in my pores or slide off. I think I bought it from look fantastic and also bought my favourite lipstick from Rimmel and got a fab freebie bag with a powder I wanted to try and a few other bits and bobs.

Carbsnomarbs · 12/11/2018 22:19

I tried the bourjois healthy mix but found it to be very yellowy and didn’t cover well unless I blended for ages.

I like No7 bb cream (the one in the green tube, think it’s the one for normal/oily skin)
Enough coverage to give even tone and I always get lots of compliments about my ‘glowy’ skin that is definitely not glowy without makeup Wink

I have a Lottie London one in the palest colour that is great, 6.95 from Superdrug. It says medium cover but feels very light.

SundayGirls · 13/11/2018 22:26

Bourjois Healthy Mix. It's medium coverage. I believe the Healthy Mix serum foundation is lighter coverage.

RedFin · 17/11/2018 20:48

I got the rimmel perfect match, it's great! Thanks all Smile
