Whats on your Christmas list?

Sweetheart · 12/11/2018 14:45

I keep being asked by family what I would like for Christmas so thought I'd see what everyone here is asking for. I ALWAYS ask for perfume and my family have started to refuse to buy it for me because apparently it's boring........Hmm

WhoisyourDaddyandwhatdoeshedo · 12/11/2018 14:54

Nothing...(it was mainly a few bits and bobs like lancom mak up and perfume)

DP is taking me to Rome for New years and birthday (birthday is new years day)
This was supposed to be my xmas surprise and Long story short , he had to come clean when I was talking booking a week away in December. He had already booked this and was going to surprise me xmas day.

Chocolatecoffeeaddict · 12/11/2018 14:58

I haven't even given it a second thought. I focus too much on everyone else's presents and the kids. It's also my birthday before Christmas and I haven't got a clue what I want.
I probably will just ask for some perfume and pjs though.

sizzledrizz · 12/11/2018 16:27

I'm getting myself a new running watch

sizzledrizz · 12/11/2018 16:28

And maybe new headphones, since ds1 has accosted mine

HildaZelda · 12/11/2018 17:21

I need a new hairdryer and a decent straightener. I've been growing my hair for over a year now and bought a cheapy Primark straightener to tide me over. It's not bad, but now that it's getting longer I need something more powerful.

LuxuryWoman2018 · 12/11/2018 18:47

Perfume for sure, maybe some really nice soft warm socks.
I always buy myself a gift at Christmas and I’m holding out for the Coach sale, I’m hoping to get a black Prairie satchel. If it doesn’t end up discounted I’ll get the earrings that match a lovely necklace I have.

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 12/11/2018 19:04

All I really want is some Clarins Foot Cream (absolutely brilliant for keeping heels soft) & a Nars Orgasm blusher.
I'm easily pleased.

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 12/11/2018 19:12

Rosie Autograph silk undies, and some cardamom perfume from M & S. And other edible stuff non S & B items.

CaseStudyResearch · 12/11/2018 19:57

I've bought myself the following for either DH or parents to give to me:

Molton Brown bath oil
Molton Brown shower gel
L'Occitane almond shower oil
Benefit make up
Bobbi Brown make up
Kiehls moisturiser

All with between 15-35% off, thanks to various sales etc, all of the above came to under £100 which is a bargain!

Also going to add on:
Calvin Klein leggings
New jeans
Nike trainers
PJs
Underwear
Kindle vouchers

Roobub · 12/11/2018 20:24

I'm asking for beauty treatment vouchers / coupons. I always used to ask for lovely makeup but since having a baby 12 weeks ago my makeup box is pretty much unopened as I haven't had time! I'm hoping if I get a few pampering things done (I'm thinking LVL lashes, HD brows and Kerastraight) I'll look a bit more presentable with minimum time input!

The benefit blush bar is a brilliant thing to ask for though. Nice and special as a gift and really useful!!

Fstar · 12/11/2018 21:08

I already have most of mine! I got

2 beauty bay eyeshadow palette
Too faced matte lips holiday collection
Too faced gingerbread palette
Too faced dreams collection

All that is left is airpods which ill end up buying and getting cash from dp

SheHasNotions · 12/11/2018 21:14

Perfume Grin.

But I’m a perfume freak, in my defence. DH always gets me a bottle for Christmas & birthdays. This year I need a new bottle of YSL Manifesto L’Elixir. Can’t wait!

That’ll be my lot, though, as we don’t do adult presents in our family. If I had a wish list, though, I’d be after some nice hand cream. Maybe a new tube of Aveda Hand Relief. And a lovely bath soak from Arometherapy Associates or Elemis.

AnaViaSalamanca · 12/11/2018 21:48

a lot of chocolate.

oops wrong forum!

Sadik · 12/11/2018 22:02

My default answer when asked what I'd like for a present is earrings from here. I've got the ginko earrings (but clear not green) and the sand dollar earrings - would particularly like the tiny limpets or tiny starfishes, but would love any of them :)

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 12/11/2018 22:40

I’ve asked my mum for Byredo Bibliotheque perfume, and MIL always gets me the big box of Molton Brown bath gels, which is fab. I try and get myself the Aromatherapy Associates bath oil set in the Space NK sale every year. My DP never asks what I want, but always comes up trumps - he would only buy perfume or makeup if specifically told what to get.

OHolyNightOwl · 12/11/2018 23:05

I started compiling a list of things I want/lust for today (not just Christmas) and so far I have: Real Techniques complete brush set, make up brush holder, makeup desk organiser, Becca shimmering skin perfector, Drunk Elephants The Littles Kit, dangly silver and glass earrings in all sorts of colours, leather skirt, funky tights, MAC red lipstick, micro mini beauty blender, fancy shampoo and conditioner for sensitive scalp/dry hair..

SimplyPut · 12/11/2018 23:24

Jo Malone English oak and redcurrent cologne paired with blackberry and bay body wash and cream.

Leather tie back necklace from Oliver Bonas

36 hours Europe book

White company winter candle

Warner Edwards rhubarb gin

Sacred tree wild island gin

Spa day

Any of the above would make me happy!

florriepeck · 13/11/2018 13:05

I like the sound of the new Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish for body, and would be pleased to receive that at Christmas; I will be buying a few to give as gifts to others, as I figure it would suit any age.

MinesaPinot · 13/11/2018 14:06

Dave Grohl on a platter

Failing that:

Lancôme Le Pliage Neo Tote in Black
Jimmy Choo Flash perfume
A travel mirror with lights
A drawstring make up bag - one of those that opens out flat so you can see everything you have

And a couple of DVDs/CDs and books

TheWombat · 13/11/2018 14:20

Simulated diamonds (can’t justify real ones ethically or financially!)
A keratin hair treatment
Bobbi brown gift vouchers
New pyjamas and wafty loungewear
Anything that smells lovely - candles, bath goodies etc that I’d never buy myself.

Not all of it obvs! Blush

Ellapaella · 13/11/2018 19:12

Jo Malone Lime, Basil and mandarin bath oil.
Perfume - not sure what yet.
New Pyjamas and some decent slipper boots.
A scented candle.
I was after some black DM's but I've got so many pairs of boots I don't think I'll bother.

That's really all I want. I love getting a new book to read in an indulgent bath on Christmas Day, getting into clean new PJ's and staying in them all day long. It's my Christmas tradition (we never have family over on Xmas day, always just me, DH and DC).

JaceLancs · 13/11/2018 22:40

I’ve asked for some black dune ankle boots www.google.co.uk/shopping/product/10306659411928513721/image?q=dune+putnam+boots+black&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-gb&client=safari&prds=cid:10306659411928513721,sgro:iv,cs:1&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiKqqf1ttLeAhUKKFAKHZIrC_gQ-K4BegQIFhBD
A lulu Guinness purse
The perfect black handbag (which I haven’t found yet)
Perfume - I’m up for a surprise (my loved ones have great taste for what might suit me)
Financial contributions to some diamond earrings which I bought a week or two ago

Whats on your Christmas list?
