Are Canada Goose parkas worth the money?

Just this really. I've seen a nice Didrikson in a sale locally, but really like Canada Goose. Are they overkill for the British climate? If so, what can people recommend?

Reads that many are concerned more for themselves that an unethical death of an animal. There is never any reason to wear animal fur.

Just too cruel. I'd never wear anything with real fur.

Please also check that the down you wear (and bedding etc) is ethical. I think down etc as a by product of the meat industry is one thing, but some birds are live plucked

The only good thing about a Canada Goose coat is that it stands as a very visible symbol of the type of person wearing it.
