32 E. What bra would you recommend?

I went bra shopping yesterday after finally admitting my old bra's were both ill fitting and falling apart. After trying on what feels like thousands, I've come to the conclusion that I'm a 32E at the moment and also that this doesn't seem to readily exist in shops...

Can you recommend one/where I could get one from? Price is not such an issue as my grandma offered to pay for it, because anything other than cheap is out of my budget. I suit balcony one's best, I'm much fuller at the bottom than the top.

Help! After 2.5 hours yesterday, I came away with a not very well fitting but cheap one in 32DD. I don't want to go up to 34 because they feel far too loose, I'm 31 inches around my ribs as it is.

Debenhams Gorgeous range is good for bigger cup sizes. Lots of styles and various prices.

Herja · 11/11/2018 08:30

Thank you! They didn't seem to have any in that size in the shop yesterday, but 100s on their website!

I'm the same size and find Freya to be comfortable and not huge boulder holders!

LettuceP · 11/11/2018 08:32

For that size I would recommend ordering online. Brastop, figleaves and bravissimo are good. Free and easy returns so order a few in a couple of sizes and keep the one you want and send the rest back.

I’m a 32F now (was a 30E before DS) and have never had issues buying either size in store. I mainly use Boux Avenue. They wash up lovely, last and if you get hem in the sale are practically a steal. Marks sell that size as well as JL, HOF

Herja · 11/11/2018 08:34

That sounds like a good idea. I'm actually pretty small chested and most seem to have massively thick straps that I dont need and spoil how they look a bit. I'll start looking online.

Clearly my local shops are crap...

I shop online at Figleaves as it's easy to return if they don't fit. I'm a 32F/32E and have a good choice on there.

Branleuse · 11/11/2018 08:39

Can you get to a bravissimo or a different debenhams? Im pretty sure Next do that size too. It doesnt sound like a particularly unusual size to me

feelitinyourbones · 11/11/2018 08:39

I'm the exact same size. All my bras are from Debenhams Gorgeous range too. Bigger stores usually have my size in plenty options. And if you find a bra you like the fit of you can reorder online next time/in other colours.

AvoidingDM · 11/11/2018 08:39

Fraya or Fantisia same company different styles. Try John Lewis or House of Fraser.

AwkwardAsAllGetout · 11/11/2018 08:40

The Freya Idol is a great bra for a larger size in a smaller band. I was fitted in John Lewis and they’ve lasted well and give a nice smooth silhouette. I’m 20 weeks pregnant and need to go up a cup size really, and I’m happy to go with the same style. I’m a similar shape to you in that I’ve lost some fullness on the top but you’d never know it in these. John Lewis often have 20% off too.

silkpyjamasallday · 11/11/2018 08:40

Mimi Holliday have a sale on at the moment and plenty of 32E left, I have always loved their stuff for small back sizes and larger cups, they have a really wide range of styles and colours.

HeyMacWey · 11/11/2018 08:41

I'm the same size and I wear Freya and Fantasie balconette style bras. I buy online as high street never seems to have any in stock.

LadyLapsang · 11/11/2018 09:30

I'm a 34 E (or DD). I buy from Bravissimo and get measured each time. My favourite at the moment is an underwired, unpadded one by Panache. Freya are also good.

Wellfuckmeinbothears · 11/11/2018 09:32

I’ve always found the M&S balcony ones fit well and are comfy. They’re good value too, £18 for 2 and if you have a sparks card they’re £5 off at the moment x

ChishandFips33 · 11/11/2018 13:27

Freya here too - I buy from Belle Lingerie

happysunr1se · 11/11/2018 13:35

Best bras I have had are what used to be called dentelle by Elle McPherson, now it's been rebranded as Heidi klum intimates, but they still have what used to be called dentelle style. I don't know what they call it now.

It's a really supportive style with side boning and doesn't stretch over time. I wear 32e, but in other brands I wear 30e or dd.

Stay away from m and s. Their bras seem to stretch immediately after the first wash.

Shampaincharly · 11/11/2018 13:37

Freya
Primadonna ( mail order from Rigby and Peller )

Rainatnight · 11/11/2018 13:39

I'm a very similar size and do very well with Freya.

IHeartKingThistle · 11/11/2018 13:40

I'm the same size. I find Victoria's Secret fab and luckily have a DH who goes to the US a lot

Ihopeyourcakeisshit · 11/11/2018 13:41

Another vote for Debenhams Gorgeous range.

Madbengalmum · 11/11/2018 13:42

Freya or Fantasie are the best two, not cheap but good quality. Figleaves has an excellent choice.

PouchofDouglas · 11/11/2018 13:58

i too like a smooth line nad no lace
I use figleaves and order loads.
Hits have been the fantasie t shirt one
the chantelle hedona for a minimising effect and the Wacoal embrace lace if you want padding for summer t shirts
