Brogues

[Gullane]

I’m looking for a pair of heavy brogues - like Dr Martens but not. I like everything about them but the yellow stitching and the ridgy side of the sole. I have titchy feet and that seems to rule out the brand that Toast sells - that and the fact that they’re squillions of money.

Any ideas, stylish mavens?

I think you can get doc martens without the contrast sticking but I’m not sure they do brouges.

Looked it up as was sure the DM's my friend lives in don't have contrast stitching.

I have a couple of pairs of Netley Rose in different colours and I love them. They don't really have the DM look though.

No but they are heavy looking brogues

Red or Dead don’t have these ones but have other red or dead shoes that are amazing. They have sizes 3 and 4.

Fly London have some lovely ones. Quite pricey though
