Mulberry hardware - gold or silver?

Quite fancy a Mulberry Lily. The smaller one to wear cross body. Saw one today, glossy black goat but it had gold hardware, albeit pale gold (not brassy). They do it in silver as well. I’m a casual dresser. The very few bits of jewellery I own are silver/platinum. What colour hardware (gold or silver) would you go for?

Assuming you have silver jewellery because it suits your colouring ( cool ) rather than gold ( warm ) then it should be silver .

i'd go for the black with silver in your position.

i had a look at the lily in clay with the god hardware and it was just too rich (was certain it was the one for me until i tried it on in the store) but the lily in rosewater with gold looked lovely on me and suited my standard outfit of blue and greys. i've now decided that the navy with silver is just more "me".

Thanks I got the black with silver in the end- was more me and felt more casual. I don’t go anywhere posh so need it to be a bag for daytime use. I only have 3 other bags, one is large but smart, and the others (longchamp) are looking scruffy after 5 years heavy use.
