I need something to make me look beautiful in the mornings...

Ok maybe not beautiful... Acceptable would be fine 😬

I'm late 20s with a 6 month old baby and 6 year old DSD. I'm back at work so life feels like it's crazier than ever but with less sleep.

I don't tend to wear make up daily, but I need something I can stick on my face on the morning and just look better. I have very pale skin, neither dry or oily and don't tend to get spots other than certain times of the month.

What do I need? BB cream (which I have and must be doing wrong because its not great)? Tinted moisturiser? I'm clueless 🤷‍♀️

I dye my eyebrows and my eyelashes. Eyebrows that need darkening look better when dyed as opposed to filled in with powder etc, and there’s one less thing in the morning.

I would also recommend getting an eyelash lift. They do seem as though they won’t do much but coupled with a dye job, it just makes looking in the mirror a less depressing experience. I still wear mascara when going to work but for about the house or for the shops it’s nice to feel as though I have visible eyelashes.

origins vitazing, it's an energy boosting moisturiser with the tiniest hint of colour. Brightening under eye concealer such as touch éclat or the garnier roll on one is fab and cheap.
Then a bit of blusher - Benefit Dandelion is good, and get your eye brows done professionally. If you an afford it, LVL extensions.

Soap and Glory have a glowy primer called Hocus Pocus which I like. But I like the Rosie for Autograph Radiance cream better. Becca Backlit is good but I still prefer the cheaper Rosie stuff.

If things are bad I use Hourglass Ambient Powder in Diffused Light. I also have a cheap highlighter powered called MUA Pixel Moonstone - cheap - 3 quid.

Bourjois CC cream is amazing stuff, lots of shades available and it evens out my skintone better than lots of foundations I've tried.

I agree about Boots No7 City Light tinted moisturiser. It makes you look like you have bare skin but better. I use a waterproof mascara and a long lasting natural looking lipstick. I make sure my eyebrows are well shaped too.

Agree with Origins Vitazing, great stuff, but not cheap!
