How do you look less tired?

I use estee lauder’s tinted moisturiser which gives a very slight tanned look. I love the feel of it as my skin always feels quite dry with foundation. I add a bit of loose powder to take away shine.

I use clarins concealer and then mascara and blusher.

I think I look nice when I’ve done my make up. Without it i look very tired, pale with dark circles. But, by midday it seems to have all gone! By the time I get home from work mid afternoon I look completely washed out again and my mascara (which is clarins and not cheap) is smudged under my eyes making that area look even darker.

I’m 43 and wondering if I need to do something different. I just want to not look knackered most of the time especially when I have spent quite a bit of money on products.

Any advice please?

What is your skin care routine like? You need to regularly exfoliate and use a primer under makeup.

Try to not touch your face.

Jackshouse my skin care is minimal! I don’t exfoliate and I now I come to think of it I do often lean on my hand at my desk at work so I am touching my face. I think I need to try harder!
