Next for coated ones (although I see Tesco had very similar a few days ago, although they may only have Black, Next had a range of colours). Sosander if you want faux leather rather than coated.

Matalan have some.

Next's are high-waisted if they're the ones I think they are. So they stay up better and contain the muffin ...

Next have both jeggings and jeans. The jeggings are shinier and the jeans are more matte, so it's worth trying both on as they look quite different on. You can size down in both I'd say.

I have the matalan ones wish I got a size up they are hard to get on.

The mint Velvet ones are £25. I swear by MV leggings as they seem to be a bit thicker than other brands

I'm waiting on delivery of the Mint Velvet ones, have never bought from them before but found a 15% off code which took them to £21.75 with free delivery.

Are they good quality v £ then?

I've got the Next black and berry ones - really loving the berry ones at the moment with camel tops

MrsMaria I'm a big fan of MV leggings, they aren't too expensive, are quite thick and don't go see through. I'm 42, size 14 and 2 babies later!!!

I've got several pairs so I rate them highly

I'm also waiting for delivery of the Mint Velvet ones. Pleased to hear they get good reviews. Was a bit surprised by the size guide though as on the website it says the model was wearing a medium regular and she is 5'10. The size guide would suggest that a standard 10 would be a small though. I'm a size 10 so ordered the medium given that the model looks much slimmer in the leg than me!

I've just bought the Spanx leather look leggings, they're pricey eyewatteringly pricey but they are absolutely fabulous.

H&M seems to have them permanently. I bought some two autumns ago and they're still doing fine although I don't wear them that much (just prefer skirts and dresses). They weren't expensive. And H&M has a massive range of sizes. Probably best to pop in and try them on so they fit how you want, OP.

@Ellapaella I noticed that model sizing too, and am also a size 10 and ordered the small! Well actually, I'm more like a 9 hence hedging for the small...if they come tomorrow I'll give a review.

@MrsMariaPolouvicka yes it threw me a bit. Mine are coming tomorrow too so I'll report back too. I'm on the larger side of a size 10 so I hope they'll fit. I do find MV sizing quite small personally so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

So, the Mint Velvet leggings arrived. I ordered the small regular as a UK9-10 and 5'6" and, well, they fit perfectly. Not too tight, they are definitely leggings though, not jeggings or trousers, as in they fit like footless tights. I was also worried they might be too short, but they come right down over my ankle, but with no ruching or need to turn up.

Obviously have only tried them on, so can't comment on continued wear or washing, but if they keep their current shape and finish, I will almost certainly buy another pair. Noticed they do a more expensive faux leather tregging for £69, anyone have these?

Spanx. I have 2 pairs. Amazing. I'm in love with them.

How do the Spanx ones fit? I'm an10-12 so in between according to their sizing...
