Nipple piercings.

After reading a thread about breast enlargement and two mumsnet tees mentioning nipple piercing, I'vebecome quite interested in getting my nipples pierced. But have read some horror stories, after internet research, of nipple piercings being ripped out etc. Has anyone had problems with theirs, and any tips?

Mine are fine. It was painful but not agony. I'm now breast feeding and just take them out which takes a grand total of 5 seconds. Never caught them in anything. Don't even notice them anymore. Had them about 7 years and love them! :)

You do need to be a bit careful with them but I've never had a nightmare. Think the most painful thing I've done was shut the washing machine door while knelt too close to it and yanked my piercing with it. Hideously sore for a few minutes, but didn't cause any actual trauma to it. Having the actual piercing done really hurt but for less than two seconds, after that it was very manageable pain.
